1989-1994 - SUBARU - Legacy (BC, BJF, BD/BG) Sedan + Wagon - KW Suspension Coilovers
KW Suspension Variant Features
Variant 1
Sportiness and outstanding looks, with factory-set damping.
The KW coilover kit Variant 1 'inox-line' is the ideal entry-level system for customers who want the technically lowest possible suspension setting or for those who want to customize their own. In extensive road tests, our experienced engineers developed a target group - specific setup by establishing an optimum balance of sportiness, comfort and safety and then implementing this in the series.

General Specifications
- Customized suspension lowering
KW coilover suspensions, KW coilover springs, and KW DLC AirSuspensions allow the suspension to be steplessly lowered within the framework of the certified technical component report. - Composite spring seat
The KW coilover spring seat is made from a wear resistant and friction-optimized polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert. - Trapezoidal thread
In comparison to common coilovers, KW uses a friction -optimized and dirt insensitive trapezoidal thread. - INOX-LINE
KW’s coilover suspension struts are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel that is rust-proof. - 7-post drive dynamics test stand
Testing Like in Formula 1
Used regularly by automobile manufacturers and international racing teams, KW’s in-house 7-post drive dynamics test facility optimally tunes the KW coilover suspensions according to the design and target group. - Technical component report
The technical component report is always included in the package and outlines the individual options for lowering the suspension of the respective vehicle.
Variant 2
Sportiness, more body control with more ride comfort and outstanding looks. With adjustable rebound stage damping.
The KW coilover kit Variant 2 “inox-line” is the suspension kit for the accomplished sports driver who wants a customized vehicle lowering with the ability to make adjustments in setup. The individually adjustable rebound stage damping ensures a better connection on fast road sections and an easier vehicle control. The driving comfort on poor road surfaces can significantly be influenced with a customized rebound stage damping.

(Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable)
The two-step, patented TVR-A technology enables the small volume to flow through an adjustable, conical low-speed bypass in the case of slow damper speeds, while in the case of higher piston speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens for the large volume flows.
Variant 3
Performance, high level of sportiness and comfort with racing technology for the road. Separately adjustable compression and rebound stage damping.
Cutting-edge motorsports technology for more performance on the road. Like every suspension product developed by KW automotive, the suspension manufacturer, and manufactured in Germany, the KW Variant 3 Coilover suspension kit also provides a significant plus in safety reserves in road traffic. Thanks to the chassis with its high-quality dampers, springs, and elastomer spring elements, pitching and rolling movements during load changes such as evasive maneuvers, cornering, acceleration, and braking are significantly reduced. The braking distances are also shortened. Thanks to improved support and feedback, drivers not only feel safer but driving in everyday life becomes even safer.
